I am finally back with a new post after missing in action for a month! Sit tight and be prepared for a long post... Haha...
Last 2 weeks was really a torture for me... Was trying very hard to mug for my common tests. This semester, I did not really study ever since the start of the semester. Been neglecting my studies because of my work. That's why during the 1 week study break, I have to spend more time studying instead of revising. Though I managed to finish studying, but everything still seem so confused to me. Haiz... Anyway, just hope that I don't have to go for the retest. If I can get at least a B for all the modules, I think I will grin from ear to ear... Haha... If A, even better... Haha...
Had my Intermediate Financial Accounting paper last Friday. Left home an hour before the paper and I was late! Not actually late, just missed my reading time. When I read the questions, my mind went blank. Maybe because I was too nervous in the first place and I was late. Quite worried that I can't score for that paper because I pin a lot of hope on that module. Conclusion: Never be late for any of your papers...
Cost Accounting was the next paper taken on Wednesday. Was really perturbed before the paper as I did not attend all the lectures neither did I do my tutorials. That was how slack I was. Did not understand anything and when I was doing the past year papers, I don't really understand too. Haiz... No use crying over spilled milk now. I just have to buck up for the next half of the semester.
Taxation was the paper on Thursday. It was terrible. Been sleeping throughout all the lectures, tutorials not touched, lecture notes very clean too. And I completed my paper in 50mins. Shockingly... And I think most of my answers are wrong. So I better prepare for retest...
Business Law was the last paper on Friday. I almost commit my horrendous habit again- Carelessness. But luckily I realised I was wrong while writing down the answer. If not, it will cost me 15 marks... *phew* But still, I am not confident of getting even a pass as all my tutorials are untouched! Haha... Ok... Think I really have to pray real hard in hoping that I can pass all 4 common tests with flying colours. *pray*
Had a class outing on Friday after that BLAW paper. Before we set off for dinner, we took class pictures, but it was still incomplete. Short of 1 classmate, but nevertheless, I think most of us are glad quite satisfied. Hopefully... Haha... Went out together, though not as a whole class, but I think everyone enjoyed themselves that night. In fact, I did. The only obstacle we encountered was finding of seats in Seoul Garden and Swensens. The class spent some time discussing where to go for dinner. This is the part where everyone have to try to complement one another. =) In the end, we all settled for Seoul Garden. Headed straight there after our discussion and though the queue was not very long, but we waited for quite sometime and in the end, we decided to change to Swensens.
Woah... The wait at Swensens really test our patience. We waited for an hour just to get 12 seats inside because I insist on sitting inside for cleaner air... Sorry guys... The dinner was a really satisfying one. Had Fish and Chips and dessert was Apple Crumble shared with Wanling and Reeney... Tell you, the Apple Crumble is really Heavenly! Michelle, next time the 4 of us shall try that dessert. The price is affordable and most importantly, its Great!
Went to Cineleisure after that. Played DDR with Trent. Did not play it for sometime hence was really exhausted after the whole game. But I really enjoyed myself. Played Daytona too with the girls... It was a wonderful and enjoyable night...
Reached home quite late. Around 12am. Wan Ling messaged me when I was on my way home asking whether I reached home already or not. I am really thankful for her showing concern. Thanks... In fact, I am thankful for all the friends around me. I believe all of you enter my life for a reason, be it good or bad. I get to know what kind of people actually exist on earth. I will cherish those worth treasuring friends around me and as for those who are not, I will treat it as a stepping-stone to learn a lesson.
Over dinner at Swensens, Mark asked a couple of questions which really set me thinking, pondering and reflecting. If I did not remember wrongly, one of the question is something like "What I look for in a guy". Hmm... I think I was really in deep thoughts after he posted that question. Seriously, I know what kind of guy I am looking for. But is that guy also looking for someone like me? Its all up to fate. I think its better to let nature take its course.
I think some of the important factors in a relationship are complement, trust, communication and care and concern. A couple really have to complement one another and not always have things in their way. If that is the case, I think the one who is always giving, will end up feeling really tired eventually. Trust is also another must have factor in a relationship. If there isn't any trust, what is the point of being together? I don't see the need then... Communication is definitely required. I think it also set the sparks going. Through communication, you can also tell how concerned that partner is and how much he or she loves you. Anyway, that's my personal feeling. =)
Yesterday was a another really great and fruitful day! Haha... Went out with dear today. Went Bugis first to buy the perfume I had always wanted- Miracle. Yeah... I bought Miracle and hope Miracles will happen to me... haha... So lame and greedy of me... *beams* Bought a perfume for my sis as her birthday present. So glad that she loves it... She loves the packaging and the scent... I bought 2 skirts at Bugis Street too. And each skirt only cost $10. Ger... We found a new great and cheap place to shop. Heez... I bought earrings too and a very simple, nice and cheap necklace which dear spotted. We hurried to Orchard after that. Bought some cosmetics accessories so that I can use in future. Spent quite an amount on cosmetics a few weeks ago. But till then, I haven even open and use because I don't have the equipment. Haha... Had actually wanted to buy eye shadow, but the colour I want was out of stock at Watsons. So I decided to get it at other outlet. Ger and I tried this pair of 3/4 pants at Giordano. Thought of buying it as it is the hot deal for this period. Original price- $43, now $29. Might be getting it on Monday... Heez... Now, I must really refrain myself from overspending. Was out for one day and I spent near to $200!!! -faints- I better go and collected my accrued pay as soon as possible. If not, I would not have money for rainy day...
